This policy explains what Collabe collects, why we use it, and the choices you have. You can reach us at hello@collabe.io with privacy questions or requests.

Information you provide

We collect your email address when you sign in. Your profile may include your name, username, bio, photo and social links. Product submissions include website details, descriptions, logos, categories and collaboration preferences.

We also store collaboration requests, messages, read receipts, reports, support requests, and payment records such as purchase identifiers, amount and payment status. Card details are entered with the payment provider; Collabe does not store full card numbers.

Information collected while you use Collabe

We use session information to keep you signed in. Our service and infrastructure providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, timestamps and error logs to operate and protect the service.

When you enter a website for autofill, we fetch its public page and icon to suggest listing details. Verification checks look for your DNS record or Collabe badge. We also check public website links and may request a Domain Rating score for the submitted domain.

How we use your information

Provide your account, product page and collaborations.
Review listings, verify ownership and prevent abuse.
Process purchases and maintain plan benefits.
Send product updates and collaboration notifications.
Respond to support requests and maintain the service.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to provide the service you request, meet legal obligations, protect the service and its users, or with your consent where required.

What other people can see

Published product pages, founder profiles and reviews are public and may be indexed by search engines. Your account email is not included in your public profile. Collaboration requests and conversations are available to their participants. Authorized service operators may access records where needed for support, safety or legal obligations.

Service providers and sharing

Collabe uses Supabase for accounts, database records and uploaded files. When connected, Google provides optional sign-in, Dodo Payments handles checkout, Resend delivers service emails, and Ahrefs provides Domain Rating information. Hosting and infrastructure providers also process data needed to run Collabe. Each provider receives information needed for its role; provider privacy policies also apply to its own processing.

We may disclose information when required by law or to investigate abuse and protect users. We do not sell personal information. Provider processing may take place in countries other than your own; safeguards required by applicable law apply to those transfers.

Storage and retention

We retain account information and content for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. Some payment, security and audit records may need to remain after an account is closed. Backups and copies held by other conversation participants or third-party search services may not disappear immediately.

Imported website suggestions may be stored in your browser for up to one hour of use so you can continue after signing in. Unfinished launch form steps do not create a product listing. See our Cookie Policy for browser storage details.

Your choices

You can update your profile and product details in your dashboard. Contact us to request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your information, or for help with notifications. We may need to confirm your identity. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object to processing, restrict it, withdraw consent, or complain to your local data protection authority.

Security and policy updates

We use access controls and other measures to protect information, but no service can guarantee complete security. We may update this policy as Collabe changes and will show the latest date above. Material changes will be communicated where required.
