Practical launch guide
How to Launch on BetaList
Consider BetaList for an upcoming or recently launched internet startup with a clear reason for early adopters to try it. First check eligibility and the paid submission terms; this is not a free directory entry.

When to Wait or Choose Another Channel
Do not pay to submit a generic company page or a project on a free hosting subdomain. Fix the product presentation and domain requirements before entering the review process.

Prepare and Launch
1. Check the Product and Domain
Read the current submission criteria. BetaList requires an owned domain and looks for a clear early-stage product proposition. Make it possible to understand the product and how an interested visitor gets access.
2. Write for an Early Adopter
Explain who has the problem, what the product already does, and what trying it involves. Avoid calling a waitlist a finished product. Prepare visuals that support the specific workflow rather than a generic hero image.
3. Inspect the Plan Before Paying
Current prices are presented in the submission form. Compare timing and newsletter inclusion there. All submissions are paid; the official help page says unselected submissions receive an automatic full refund.
4. Prepare for Review and Incoming Interest
Save the plan details and confirmation. Test the first email a new user receives, and decide how you will welcome early adopters. If selected, compare the resulting users with the audience you described, rather than judging the submission on clicks alone.
Before You Submit
